Elks Lodge Camping Outing, July 17-18

About ten Scouts in two patrols set up camp at the Elks Lodge, cooked pasta and naan pizzas, and shared s'mores around the campfire.
We had a fantastic camping trip at the Elks Lodge the other day! We had about 10 Scouts join us, working in two patrols to manage campsite setup and outdoor cooking.
We arrived around 5:30 PM to set up our tents, and by 7:30 PM, the patrols were hard at work on dinner. One group made pasta with marinara sauce, while the other patrol worked together to make naan pizzas. After dinner, a few Scouts gathered firewood to set up a campfire. Everyone enjoyed s'mores, relaxed, and caught up around the fire before turning in for the night.
The next morning, we were up early, preparing breakfast. One patrol enjoyed bagels with cream cheese, while the other made pancakes with whipped cream. We then worked together to clean and pack up camp.
It was a very successful trip, and we can't wait for our next adventure!
