Akhil and Jacqueline Take Over as Senior Patrol Leaders

SPL elections were held during the August 18 troop meeting. To run for SPL, you had to be First Class rank or higher and be prepared to give a 1–2 minute speech explaining why you would be a good candidate for the position. Everyone was encouraged to participate in the election process.

My name is Akhil, and I will be serving as one of the SPLs beginning today along with Jacqueline.

Next week, we will be electing the new PLC for the upcoming year. If you are interested in a leadership role, please email Jacqueline and me with the role you are interested in, a brief explanation of why you would like to serve in that position, and what makes you a good candidate. If you are interested in a leadership role but are unsure which position to choose, there is a document outlining each role, including its description and responsibilities.

I look forward to hearing from you and working with everyone this year, and remember, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me.
